This is the portion of my May 17 show just after the interview about Alan Lomax with Nathan Salsburg. That interview is available here:

This portion of the show begins with a guitar duet featuring Nathan Salsburg and then a tribute to Guy Clark whose death had been announced earlier in the day. BTW...I reference an interview from Texas Monthly Magazine where a bunch of Texas songwriters discuss their craft. The group included Guy Clark, Patty Griffin, Robert Earl Keen, and my second cousin, Sonny Throckmorton. Sonny isn't someone with whom I've had a lot of contact in my life...and none in the last 30 years. I was looking for a fact about Guy Clark and stumbled upon this discussion, which was pretty cool:
