Episode: Sharon Louden interview -- The Artist as Culture Producer: Living and Sustaining a Creative Life
Sharon Louden is an artist who finished grad school with large student loans that took ten years to repay. In an effort to create a primer for younger artists just starting out, she asked forty visual artists for advice. "Living and Sustaining a Creative Life," published in 2013, was a huge success. In 2017, she put together a follow-up book, "The Artist as a Culture Producer: Living and Sustaining A Creative Life."
Louden will be taking part in a panel discussion at the Aldrich Museum of Art on Saturday, July 1, at 2:00 p.m. On June 24, she'll be at ArtSpace in New Have as part of their 30th anniversary celebration.
