2) Jackie DiSalvo is an associate professor of English at Baruch College and a member of The City University of New York's faculty union who organized Occupy Wall Street’s Labor Outreach Committee. She shares her views on the status of the U.S. labor movement in 2018 -- as teacher strikes in several states revealed new energy and momentum, but also as unions face attacks on many fronts including the recent Supreme Court ruling in the Janus v. AFSCME case - and various states revoking public sector unions' collective bargaining rights.

3) Marjorie Cohn, Professor Emerita, Thomas Jefferson School of Law, talks about her recent article, "Kavanaugh Scorns International Law and Loves Executive Power," related to the upcoming Trump Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh's Senate confirmation hearings.

4) Professor of Economics Richard Wolff presentation on Wealth Inequality in the U.S.: Wolff compares inequality in America with that of other developed nations around the world, and the policy differences behind these major disparities of wealth.

5) Climate activist Kimberly Stoner summarizes local New Haven and Connecticut events for the Sept. 8th and 9th, Rise for Climate, Jobs and Justice global day of action, where thousands of rallies in cities and towns around the world are being organized to demand local leaders commit to building a fossil free world that puts people and justice before profits.
