Episode: 03.25.19: Counterpoint host Scott Harris discusses the conclusion of the Mueller probe into Trump-Russia Collusion; Trump's recognition of Israel's control of disputed Golan Heights; Assessing Bernie Sanders' 2016 & 2020 presidential candidacy

Counterpoint, hosted by Scott Harris, is heard every Monday night on WPKN 89.5 FM, Bridgeport, CT between 8:00 - 10:00 pm ET. Webstreaming and audio archive at http://wpkn.org

1) Caroline Fredrickson president of the American Constitution Society examines the Justice Dept. summary of the Mueller report on Trump-Russia collusion, and the concern of many across the country that President Trump's Attorney General William Barr may prevent important sections of the Mueller report from being released to the public. She'll also share her views on the debate within the House Democratic caucus about the litmus test for moving forward with impeachment.

2) Further examination of the end of the Mueller probe from various articles and a comment from a listener phone call...

3) John Quigley Professor emeritus of International Law at Ohio State University, discusses President Trump's move to recognize Israel's annexation of the Golan Heights, Syrian territory captured by the Israeli military in 1967 -- with a focus on international law and the precedent this policy decision will have on similar international territorial disputes going forward.

4) Greg Guma, a writer, editor, historian, and progressive activist for over four decades, is the author of "The People's Republic: Vermont and the Sanders Revolution." Greg will discuss his recent article, "Through the years with Bernie Sanders," assessing Bernie's 2020 presidential candidacy and how it connects with a new generation skeptical of an economic and political system that's failing them.
