1) Noam Chomsky, professor emeritus at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Linguistics and Philosophy -- is one of the world's most widely read progressive dissident intellectuals. He assesses the nation's current economic crisis, the state of the U.S. progressive movement, the tea party movement and concerns about resurgent fascism.
2) William J. Astore, professor of hstory at the Pennsylvania College of Technology and a 20 year veteran of the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a lieutenant colonel, discusses his recent article, "The Business of America is Kleptocracy," published on the website TomDispatch.com
3) Hussein Ibish, Senior Fellow at the American Task Force on Palestine and co-author, along with Ali Abunimah of, "The Palestinian Right of Return," examines increasing Israeli-Palestinian tensions and the Obama administration's approach to re-starting Middle East peace talks.
4) Cristobal Cavazos, a national leader in the struggle for immigrant rights and co-founder of the group, Immigrant Solidarity Dupage in Chicago, assesses Arizona's new draconian immigration law, the current campaign for immigration reform legislation and plans for demonstrations on May 1st.
