Carlos hosts América al Oido in Spanish and Global Sounds, every Wednesday from 02:00 to 06:00 A.M. One, Global Sounds, a eclectic program with music of all times and corners of the world and América al Oido a program with music, news and commentaries about Latin America.

He started his career as an announcer in Chile in 1965 and worked in several radio stations in Santiago and Chañaral, Chile to end as an announcer on Chilean TVN in the '70's. Carlos has also had programs in Sweden and the US. 

Carlos was the host for many years of "Cuando Chile Canta" (When Chile Sings) which was a program dedicated to chilean folk music, Later he developed a program including folk music from around the world, the name of the program was "The World Sings At Your Ears" .

Carlos has studied Psychology and Social Anthropology and has traveled extensively around the world, both, for pleasure and business. Carlos has resided, for different lengths of time, in Chile, Sweden, France, Germany and Mexico and now lives in the US since 1986.

Carlos offers trips to South America and Europe and runs a soccer program called Americana Soccer for inner city youth at no cost for participants. Every year Carlos takes soccer teams to Europe in the summer to participate in large international youth soccer tournaments.
