June being LGBTQ Pride Month, the focus of the conversation on this broadcast is on the challenges of Black women including those in the LGBTQ community in American socety. Black women, both those within and outside the LGBTQ community face many roadblocks in advancing their own lives. On this broadcast, host Garnett Ankle's guest, Kenyatta Thompson, Director of Community Organizing at Katal Center speaks on the plight of Black women in and out of the LGBTQ community in the United States.
