Valerie and Ann discussed the overall work of IRIS and some of the challenges presented by the Trump administration's crackdown on refugees. This discussion came in the wake of the announcement that the president had capped the number of refugees coming to the United States for the new fiscal year at 45,000, the lowest number ever admitted and far short of what refugee agencies believe is the minimum needed for the current humanitarian challenge.
