Happy Mother's Day!
The music world has lost several giants during the past two months. Some who come to mind easily are, musician and singer from the nation called Cameroon, in Africa, Manu Debango. One of his more popular songs is Soul Makossa. Another important African from Nigeria, Tony Allen also passed away recently. Allen was one of the pioneers of the Afro Beat music. Great Music!
We also lost Jamaican singer, Millie Small, who had a huge hit song in England in 1964 called My Boy Lolly Pop.
Jamaica's unsung singing great, Bob Andy also passed away. On today's show, host Garnett Ankle plays a musical tribute to Bob Andy. Garnett starts off the show with his musical tribute to Andy.
Monday, May 11, 2020 marks thirty nine years since reggae king, Bob Marley passed away. Close to the end of the show, Garnett plays songs of Bob in his memory.
