Episode: Mic Check
Jaz and Vicky from Justice for Jayson give an update on the movement.
Jaz is the sister of 15 year-old Jayson Negron who was murdered by Bridgeport Police Officer James Boulay on May 9, 2017. Since Jayson’s murder, Jaz has been leading the Justice for Jayson movement demanding justice for Jayson’s life. There have been protests here in Bridgeport and all across Connecticut, and grassroots organizing that has shifted the way policing is discussed here in the state.
