Today's show is host Garnett Ankle's first for 2021. He thanks his colleagues Michael Dunham, and Ebong Udoma for filling in during the past three shows. Garnett wishes his listening audience  a great 2021, and hopes all their dreams for the new year will come true.

On the show today, Garnett starts with a song from Charlie Pride, the Country & Western legend who died in December 2020. The song "Kiss An Angel Good Morning" was recorded in Jamaica and features his son, Carlton for  his reggae album, "What You Need."

For the remainder of Solidarity, Garnett plays the usual cutting edged roots reggae music and the spoken word. The usual features are aired along with Solidarity Headline News out of Africa, and News from the Caribbean.
