Reggae music continues to lose many of its great singers and musicians. The reggae music world morns the recent murder of Donald Shaw, better known as Tabby Diamond, the lead singer of The Mighty Diamonds who was shot to death in his community on the island of Jamaica. A few days later, the band suffered another loss when Bunny Diamond whose given name is Fitzroy Simpson passed after a long illness. Lloyd Ferguson better known as Judge is the sole surviving member of the band which starting in 1969.

For the entire show on this broadcast, we feature the music of The Mighty Diamonds. Some of their great hits are played here. In addition, the usual features including Solidarity News are aired, interspersed with the great roots music of one of Jamaica's legendary reggae bands which will not be the same going forward.
