Episode: Del 'in Transition' : On the phone with 2018 RnR Hall of Famer Denny Laine
the multi-instrumentalist songwriter gives us some insight into his career spanning since the age of 12. Denny is probably only one handful of musicians/writers to have successful careers with 2 bands : the Moody Blues ('64-'66) and Paul McArtney and Wings ('71-'81), but we go deeper than that cause Denny's had stints with Ginger Baker's Air Force, and an underrated R & B vocalist in the Uk Maggie Bell. (speaking of which) the Moody's recorded a song originally sung by one Bessie Banks in 1964 called 'Go Now', written by Lieber and Stoller. She's another one to look into.
