Episode: What's Your Point? with Garnett Ankle

After four hundred years of slavery, and the constant struggle for equal rights in the United States, Black people are still living like third class citizens, and in many instances, less than human.

The recent murder of George Floyd by a White police man, and the other unlawfull killings of Black people by other law officers and citizens alike have caused  uprisings and protests in the United States and other sections of the world.

On the show today, Garnett examines the impact of politics on the killings/murders of Black people by law officers and the role of politics in the response to the treatment of Black people with COVID-19 virus.

Garnett's guest on the show is a regular, Dr.Yohuru Williams, Dean and McQuinn Distinguished Chair of the College of Arts, and Sciences, University of Saint Thomas, Minneopolis, Minnesota.
