Counterpoint, hosted by Scott Harris, is heard every Monday night on WPKN 89.5 FM, Bridgeport, CT between 8:00 – 9:30 pm ET. Webstreaming and audio archive at http://wpkn.org

1) Dr. Dr. Kristyn Brandi, previous board chair of the group Physicians for Reproductive Health (PRH), is an obstetrician-gynecologist and complex family planning specialist who provides abortion care in New Jersey. She'll discuss PRH's response to the recent SCOTUS hearing on a challenge to 2016 and 2021 changes made by the FDA in how mifepristone is prescribed, which threatens access to medication abortion -- and the wider threat to reproductive rights overall.

2) Independent Journalist Arvind Dilawar discusses his recent Counterpunch article, "How Israeli Propagandists Reach Journalists," re: “Hasbara,” or Israeli propaganda, that is fundamental to manufacturing consent for Zionism via the mass media, as well as issues related to US media coverage of the ongoing war in Gaza.

3) Shelly Altman, an activist leader with Jewish Voice for Peace Action Connecticut, talks about CT’s Tuesday, April 2nd Democratic Party primary and the local and national campaign urging voters to cast their ballot for "uncommitted" to send President Joe Biden a message of opposition to his policy on Israel's war in Gaza.

4) Sharon Lavigne, an environmental justice advocate who successfully stopped the construction of a $1.25 billion plastics manufacturing plant alongside the Mississippi River in St. James Parish, Louisiana. and Marlena Fontes, organizing director with the Climate Organizing Hub, talk about the upcoming April 22nd, New York City public hearing, "The People Vs. Citi: Confronting Citi Group's Environmental Racism."
