1) Sean McElwee, research associate at Demos and Jason McDaniel, assistant professor of political science at San Francisco State University discuss their recent article, "Do Racists Like Fox News, or Does Fox Make People Racist?"

2) Mark Weisbrot, co-director of the Center for Economic and Policy Research examines the results of Spain's December 20th parliamentary election, where the anti-austerity party Podemos won the third most votes. Mark considers the economic conditions that explains why voters effectively ended Spain's two-party system.

3) Professor Brian Levin, director of the Center for the Study of Hate & Extremism at California State University at San Bernardino, summarizes his group's recent study of anti-Muslim hate crime attacks in the U.S. that appear to have risen sharply across the U.S. to a level nearly three times the monthly average of the last five years -- and related issues.

4) Stanley Heller, host and producer of the cable TV public affairs show, "The Struggle," and executive director of Connecticut's Middle East Crisis Committee, talks about the work of Promoting Enduring Peace, the New Haven-based group where he serves as administrator.
