Ya gotta get up pretty early in the morning to make this show, and Fred makes the valiant effort to be up - the 3hr difference to the left coast. 

We talk about a whole host of things, not just basketball, as the NY Knicks fr 70-73 were NY's heroes, as NY was in its' sports hayday. It's not just a ballers' interview, but I try to bring the horse to the well, re: the characters that made the team, and why they were succesful, Fred's work ethic early on to now, involving HS soccer teams to street level consumer protectionism, working with companies to provide for inner city kids and those less fortunate than ourselves, the events that shaped many championship seasons, the superstars in the game at the time, it's social implications on sports and society, and athletics as a career in general, and how it's changed as it exists today.
