Episode: Solidarity with Garnett Ankle

After twenty months away from live radio, Garnett makes a return in style. He last hosted a recorded show on Independence Day, Sunday, July 4 this year. Garnett thanks his colleagues who filled in during his absence, Audiophile Anonymous, I Messiah, and Michael Dunham.

Today's show is a musical tribute to musician, singer, and record producer Lee "Scratch" Perry who passed away a few months ago. Garnett also dedicates the show to his friend and colleague Mikki Barnes, host of Mikki's Room who passed away after illness. Mikki's Room continues to be aired hosted by other colleagues every Saturday10 PM Eastern Time for four hours.

Perry had a huge impact on the music world. Apart from producing the Wailers, and many other top reggae artists, Perry worked with The Clash and The Beastie Boys.

Garnett also plays a twenty year old conversation he had with Perry.

Listen as Garnett serves up some of Perry's best works including him on lead vocals. The usual features and Solidarity News are also aired.
