We all learn many things from each other at WPKN. We get turned on by an artist and we absolutely become devout. I tell the story of how I got involved with a banc from Minneapolis that I first heard on Cliff Furnald's show years back. It was a Celtic Rock band called 'Boiled in Lead'. They were playing at the Town Crier in Pawling, NY (now Darryls' House) right down the street from a friend of mine. We went, we stormed the place. It was his young girlfriend's birthday. I played a track and tell a story from that night many years ago. I hadn't thought about it in decade's, but it rose up like the Dead and took hold a me. I hope you dig it too.
