Episode: a Miniature World - Binnie Klein interviews Katharine Weber Feb 11, 2016
Connecticut author Katharine Weber has many books to her name. She also carries the legacy of one of the most influential female composers of the early 20th century -- Kay Swift. Katharine Weber is Kay Swift's granddaughter. Swift collaborated with George Gershwin, and they had a long and intimate relationship. Katharine has created a Cabaret, "Let's Call the Whole Thing Off" to benefit New Haven's Lyric Hall, having its premiere Friday, February 12 at 8 pm. This theatrical concert is a celebration of Swift and Gershwin's love, song by irresistible song.
