A conservative and a progressive sit down and talk about Trump.

On "Digging in the Dirt" this time around, it will be something a little different. Like many of you, in the wake of the Trump Presidential victory, in between fits of depression and melancholy, I've been trying to figure out what the hell happened. I came across a documentary called "The Sociopath" that came out two days before the election on November 6th. I couldn't stop watching it. It was the best chronological explanation of the various stages of Trumps rise to power and I was amazed to find out that it was produced and directed by a politically conservative guy named Ben Howe. Ben Howe is an American conservative and Senior Contributing Editor for the RedState blog which functions as a discussion forum and group blog for a variety of conservative activists.
“The Sociopath” is a crowd-funded documentary on Donald Trump. It’s a look at how we got to Trump, who he really is, and what we can expect of him. It’s brutally honest, deeply compelling, and utterly depressing. But in an irresistibly fascinating way. With the political landscape in complete disarray and our angst for the future at an all time high, I wanted to find out what common ground politically disparate people may have in the face of a future that holds a President Donald Trump and his band of White supremacist and radical right-wingers and Christian right who don't value the constitution all that much. Time to step out of our bubble and find out what other intelligent people are thinking about "The Socio[path".
