Lindsay Koshgarian, Program Director of the National Priorities Project assesses the two-year federal budget deal just passed by Congress that gives the U.S. military 54% of the discretionary budget, and how the allocation of these federal funds impacts non-military spending, i.e: public education, EPA, the Veterans Administration and NIH.

Ken Jones, a retired professor of teacher education living in Swannanoa, NC., who recently returned from a fact finding delegation to Honduras, discusses the grave human rights situation in Honduras, and civil society mobilization opposing the repression of opposition and civil society groups since the nation's disputed November 25th 2017 presidential election.

The Reverend Dr. Liz Theoharis, Co-Director of the Kairos Center and co-chair, along with Rev. William Barber, of the Poor People's Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival, discusses the Campaign, its inspirational history, issues agenda, planned actions and current goals.

Author Debra Olson talks about her new book, "The People's Governor: The Honorable Culbert Levy Olson," covering her grandfather's progressive activist career and agenda as governor of California from 1939-1943.
