Resistance Roundtable, broadcast on WPKN the 2nd Saturday of each month.

On today's program Resistance Roundtable co-host Scott Harris, is joined by Melinda Tuhus, long time journalist who has written for local and national publications including the New York Times, In These Times and The New Haven Independent. Melinda is producer of the WPKN show, "The Forest and the Trees: Global and Local Perspectives on the Environment -- and a regular contributor to the nationally syndicated weekly program Between The lines Radio Newsmagazine.

The Roundtable's regular co-hosts Ruthanne Baumgartner and Richard Hill are away this week on assignment.

On today's show we interview Sam Rosenberg, a sixth grade student at Cold Spring School, an independent school in New Haven, Connecticut, who organized a rally for climate action in a New Haven city park on May 31st. Also joining us is Ben Martin an activist with the group 350 CT, the Connecticut chapter of the international climate action group 350.org.
