3) Diane Duston, widow of award winning investigative journalist Robert Parry, discusses the recent New York Times story, "A Four-Decade Secret: One Man’s Story of Sabotaging Carter’s Re-election," and Robert's key role in uncovering the facts surrounding former President Ronald Reagan's involvement in delaying the release of U.S. hostages held in Iran in 1979 on the eve of the 1980 U.S. presidential election.
4) New Haven attorney Alex Taubes examines the current debate over the renomination of Carleton Giles as chair of the Connecticut Board of Pardons and Parole. He'll share his views on criticism leveled at Giles by Republican legislators who oppose the major increase in the number of commutations issued to inmates serving more than a 10 year sentence, convicted on charges ranging from property crimes to murder.
