Biden's nomination of Elliott Abrams to the bipartisan United States Advisory Commission on Public Diplomacy -- and the disturbing issues re: Abrams' past he covered in his 2019 article, "Elliott Abrams, Trump's Pick to Bring Democracy to Venezuela, Has Spent His Life Crushing Democracy."

3) Ben Burgis, a Jacobin magazine columnist, adjunct philosophy professor at Rutgers University, and author of several books, most recently "Christopher Hitchens: What He Got Right, How He Went Wrong, and Why He Still Matters," discusses his recent article, "Biden Is Wrong: The Supreme Court Is Already “Politicized,” and issues related to the Supreme Court's rightwing majority's rulings on federal reproductive rights, affirmative action, LGBTQ discrimination and student debt relief.

4) Aziz Dehkan, Executive Director and Allison Pilcher, Policy Director with the Connecticut Roundtable on Climate and Jobs, assess the recently ended CT legislative session, their wins and losses, the group's legislative agenda going forward and how listeners can get involved in CRCJ's campaigns.
