Also Chuck Berry, Lloyd Price, Ray Charles, Carla & Rufus, King Curtis, Ernie K-Doe, Benny Spellman, Parliament Funkadelic, Smiley Lewis, The O'Jays, Booker T and The MG's, Gene McDaniels, The Coasters and whatever happened in the moment. 

This was also a low key fundraiser for the station, aiming towards replacing an ancient 10,000 watt transmitter, first put into use in 1783. You can still contribute online at wpkn.org or by calling in during business hours at 203-331-9756.
