After Valerie's introduction, the first voice heard is Library Director Cynthia Young who introduces Ellen T. White, the Director of the series about artits who make or have made the eastern end of Long Island their home. Ellen, in turn, introduces the three panelists.
Helen Harrison, author of a biography about Jackson Pollock, and historian Gail Levin, author of the biography Lee Krasner, discuss the artists' lives, with the discussion led by WSHU book reviewer Joan Baum, who had reviewed both Ms. Harrison and Ms. Levin’s books. The discussion was recorded on Saturday, September 12, at Amagansett Free Public Library.¸
