1) Norman Solomon, author, co-founder & coordinator of the online organization RootsAction.org and nationwide coordinator of the Bernie Delegates Network. who comments on Hillary Clinton's new book," What Happened," and assesses the future of the Democratic Party in this critical moment when the Trump administration is overturning dozens of progressive government policies on the economy, education, worker health and safety, climate change and immigration.

2) Sarah Anderson, Director of the Institute for Policy Studies' Global Economy Project talks about her August 30th, New York Times op ed piece titled, "It's a Myth That Corporate Tax Cuts Mean More Jobs," and the Congressional debate ahead on Trump administration and Republican proposals on corporate and individual tax cuts and tax reform.

3) Jake Johnston, a Research Associate at the Center for Economic and Policy Research in Washington, DC, discusses his recent article published in The Intercept, "How Pentagon Officials May Have Encouraged a 2009 Coup in Honduras," based on unpublished government records and dozens of interviews with high-ranking U.S. and Honduran military officials.

4) September 11, 1973 Chile Coup 44 Years Later: Arlo Guthrie's song "Victor Jara," about the Chilean singer, song writer who was tortured and killed by the Chilean military after the 1973 coup. Bruce Springsteen sings Victor Jara's song: "Manifesto," at a concert in Santiago Chile in 2013; and audio excerpts of the video documentary, "The Overthrow of Democratic Chile."
