1) Bandy X. Lee, M.D., M.Div, Assistant Clinical Professor in Law and Psychiatry at Yale University School of Medicine and author of the book, "The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump: 27 Psychiatrists and Mental Health Experts Assess a President." Dr. Lee will discuss her concerns about President Trump's management of the coronavirus pandemic, and the urgent action she and others at the World Mental Health Coalition are recommending to limit the damage to our nation in this moment of crisis.

2) Leonard C. Goodman, a Chicago criminal defense attorney, co-owner of the newly independent Chicago Reader and Adjunct Professor of Law at DePaul University. Goodman will discuss his recent Reader article, "Profits over people: America’s dangerously inefficient response to COVID-19 is what happens when plutocrats—not politicians—direct public policy."

3) Greg Palast, well known for his investigative reports for BBC television, Rolling Stone and The Guardian. He's written four New York Times bestsellers, including "The Best Democracy Money Can Buy," which is also a feature documentary available on Amazon Prime. Greg will discuss how the U.S. can conduct secure primary and general election voting during this coronavirus lockdown, and at the same time push back against the continuing GOP tactics of massive voter purges, voter suppression through targeted ID laws, closing down polling places -- and erecting obstacles to registering new voters.

4) David Bacon, a writer, photographer and former union organizer, is author of "The Right to Stay Home: How US Policy Drives Mexican Migration," and "Illegal People: How Globalization Creates Migration and Criminalizes Immigrants." He'll discuss the plight of U.S. farm workers in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, and examine how the U.S. food/agricultural production system is critically dependent on these men and women, and the inadequate or non-existent federal support for these farm worker families during this current crisis.
