Episode: Connections in Time

Aug 3, 2018 episode of Connections on WPKN with Eric Cocks. Dylan, Diddley, Bowie, plus new and vintage music. Includes an extended section of live and studio performances by Bob Dylan, currently on tour in Australia. Plus David Bowie (with a newly produced single), Sam Phillips (who will be releasing a new film and new album, Live at Largo on August 17), Liz Phair, Lazy Lester, The Wild Reeds, Barnaby Bye, Cindy Lee Berryhill (about to tour on the east coast), Bo Diddley, Richard Barone (doing a free concert in Central Park on Sunday, August 12 with many special guests celebrating Music + Revolution: Greenwich Village in the 1960's), Hobby Horse (with Mary Hopkin and Tony Visconti), Gary Calamar, The Beach Boys and more.

Also new music by Elvis Costello and The Imposters, Peter Holsapple, Sam Valdez, Sloan Peterson, The Lord Calverts, Galen Ayers, Lisa Mychols, DYAN, Juliana Hatfield, Mayor Culpa, The Squeaky Chairs and whatever ever happened in the moment.

Apparently, there was a minor glitch in the archives, which caused the recording to skip ahead during the intro to a song written by Jeff Barry and performed by Juliana Hatfield. Maybe it will reappear some day.
