Counterpoint, hosted by Scott Harris, is heard every Monday night on WPKN 89.5 FM, Bridgeport, CT between 8:00 - 10:00 pm ET. Webstreaming and audio archive at http://wpkn.org

1) Tom Collina, Director of Policy with the Ploughshares Fund talk about an account in Bob Woodward and Robert Costa's new book that Army General Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and chief military aide to the president, fearful that Trump was unstable took steps to ensure the Pentagon could prevent Trump from launching a politically driven war, and called Chinese leaders to ease concern that Trump was planning an attack prior to the presidential election. He'll discuss his work to prevent future presidents from having the unilateral decision-making power to launch a nuclear holocaust.

2) Mel Goodman, a senior fellow at the Center for International Policy and a former CIA intelligence analyst from 1966 to 1990, discusses his recent article, "The Dangerous Exaggeration of the Threat," with a focus on the recent move by President Biden to establish a US, UK, Australia security pact in the Asia-Pacific region, in what appears to be an effort to counter China's growing economic influence and military capacity.

3) Heather McKee Hurwitz, formerly a lecturer of Sociology and feminist scholar at Case Western Reserve University, now a Visiting Researcher at the Cleveland Clinic, talks about her new book, "Are We the 99%? The Occupy Movement, Feminism, and Intersectionality," on the 10th anniversary of the birth of the Occupy Wall Street movement.
