1) Jeremy Ornstein, an 18 year old activist with the Sunrise Movement who discusses his group's recent 150 person strong sit-in at Rep. Nancy Pelosi's Congressional office and the demand for the new Democratic majority in the House to develop a comprehensive plan to address climate change, known as the 'Green New Deal,' a progressive vision for environmental sustainability and economic stability.

2) Robert Naiman, Policy Director with the group Just Foreign Policy, talks about the Republican House majority blocking a vote on a resolution to end U.S. support for the bloody Saudi-led war in Yemen that has killed 56,000 civilians, and where famine threatens the lives of 14 million.

3) Drew Penrose, Law and Policy Director with the group Fair Vote, explains the system of Ranked Choice Voting used in Maine in the 2018 midterm Congressional election, initiatives to adopt its use elsewhere across the U.S., and other critical election reforms Fair Vote is advocating.

4) Michael Askew, Director of Recovery Advocacy with the Bridgeport, CT based group Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery, (CCAR), talks about his agency which strives to end discrimination surrounding addiction and recovery, open new doors and remove barriers to recovery, while ensuring that all people in recovery, and people seeking recovery, are treated with dignity and respect.

5) Stanley Heller, Executive Director of the New Haven, CT based Middle East Crisis Committee, discusses his group's just launched petition campaign calling on Saudi Crown Prince Mohamad Bin Salman and President Trump to release the remains of murdered dissident journalist Jamal Khashoggi to his family.
