1) Beth Rotman, Money in Politics & Ethics Program Director with Common Cause, assesses the House vote moving forward with the impeachment inquiry into Donald Trump, GOP complaints about process - and her group's filing a complaint last month with the Department of Justice and the Federal Election Commission, "alleging that Pres. Trump, Rudy Giuliani, and other political operatives violated federal campaign finance laws by soliciting a political contribution from a foreign national—by urging the Ukrainian president to investigate the Bidens."

2) Yasha Levine, a Russian-American investigative journalist, former editor of the Moscow-based satirical newspaper The eXile and author of, "Surveillance Valley: The Secret Military History of the Internet," discusses his recent article, "Ukraine: A Short History of Meddling," and other issues he's covering re: Ukraine that many people in the U.S.now watching Trump's Ukraine Impeachment Inquiry unfold, aren't aware of -- including fascist groups linked with Ukraine's oligarchs.

3) Jose Ragas, Assistant Professor, Instituto de Historia at Universidad Católica de Chile in Santiago, Chile discusses the economic conditions that led to militant protests against inequality and austerity in Chile -- in the context of other similar protests in Ecuador, Haiti, Peru, Argentina and Honduras.

4) Professor Christopher Vials, director of American Studies at the University of Connecticut and author of "Haunted by Hitler: Liberals, the Left and the Fight Against Fascism in the United States" talk at Between The Lines's 10-19-19 public forum, "The Fascist Threat and Effective Resistance in the Trump Era."
