1) Jamal Abdi, Vice President of Policy National Iranian American Council assesses the impact of Donald Trump's pullout from the Iran International nuclear agreement, with discussion on the current struggle of European nations to salvage the agreement, including a recent EU request to Treasury Secretary, Steven Mnuchin, and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, asking to be exempt from the imposition of secondary sanctions on European companies doing business in Iran. -- and of course the looming threat of war.

2) Anand Jahi the New Economy Coalition's Director of Movement Engagement, talks about the upcoming CommonBound conference in St. Louis, and the work NEC and a growing network of groups are doing across the U.S. to build a new economy promoting "true democratic governance and community ownership; for prosperity rooted in interdependence with the earth’s natural systems."

3) Ryan Mallett-Outtrim an independent Australian journalist based in Mexico provides analysis of the upcoming July 1st Mexican presidential election, and predictions that progressive populist candidate and former mayor of Mexico City, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, known as "AMLO," will win, and the potential impact on U.S and Latin American politics and economic policy.

4) Kathy Kelly, co-coordinator, Voices for Creative Nonviolence discusses the recently announced cease fire between the Taliban and Afghan government and U.S. troops in Afghanistan, with a focus on the drought that has stricken Afghanistan and a 400-mile walk for peace undertaken by Afghan men covered in Kelly's recent article, "Digging Deeper."
